Programmer to consultant
Programmer for the Department of Home Affairs in Pretoria, programmer-analyst at Consultix, technology consultant with Ironbridge in Johannesburg. I learned the trade from the mainframe up.
Consulting & sales leadership
Spherion, then Concord — consultant to senior sales executive. Years inside real businesses taught me how they use technology, and what it costs them when it fails.
Seventeen years my own company
Owner of ARBEZ: online broadcast production, WordPress and Kajabi learning platforms, email automation, hundreds of live events and career courses — the Get Hired Faster and Career Cat programs. Local TV called when they needed career-tech segments: Fox 9's Monday Makeover (2006) and WCCO 4 (2011).
